Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker supports daily recycling operations by sorting and separating recyclable materials and safely operating specialized equipment such as balers and Styrofoam densifiers. This role helps maintain an efficient, clean, and organized facility while contributing to environmentally responsible waste management.
Responsibilities
Sort and separate recyclables such as paper, plastic, metal, and Styrofoam according to established procedures and quality standards.
Operate the baler to compact and bundle recyclable materials for storage and shipment.
Operate the Styrofoam densifier to process Styrofoam and related materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Inspect materials for contamination and remove non-recyclable items to maintain product quality.
Load, stack, and move processed materials within the warehouse to designated storage or shipping areas.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment and handling materials.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area, including sweeping and general housekeeping tasks.
Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or operational problems promptly to the appropriate contact.
Assist team members with various warehouse tasks as needed to support smooth daily operations.
Essential Skills
Experience working with recyclables or in a warehouse, production, or similar environment.
Ability to safely operate or learn to operate a baler and Styrofoam densifier.
Basic understanding of sorting and handling different @types of recyclable materials.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
Strong attention to detail when sorting materials and monitoring equipment.
Reliability and punctuality to support consistent warehouse operations.
High School Diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfort working around industrial equipment and machinery.
Willingness to learn new processes and equipment operation procedures.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic problem-solving skills to identify and communicate issues with materials or equipment.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse and recycling facility environment with active machinery and material handling. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
