Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The Warehouse Worker supports a large-scale distribution project by safely handling, pricing, and moving boxes within a freezer warehouse environment. This role regularly uses pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment while consistently lifting heavy items and working in low temperatures.
Responsibilities
Price, label, and organize boxes and products according to established procedures and project requirements.
Move boxes and materials throughout the warehouse using a pallet jack and other material handling equipment.
Consistently lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds as part of daily tasks.
Operate material handling tools such as pallet jacks and, where applicable, forklifts and stand-up forklifts in a safe and efficient manner.
Use an RF scanner to accurately pick, scan, and track inventory and orders.
Assist with packing, order selection, and general labor tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.
Maintain accurate inventory by following proper scanning, counting, and storage procedures.
Work in a freezer environment with temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment.
Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment, including composite or steel/composite-toed footwear and safety glasses.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to support a safe and efficient warehouse.
Collaborate with a team of warehouse workers to meet productivity, quality, and attendance expectations.
Be available to work assigned shifts and volunteer for overtime when needed to support operational demands and earn back attendance points where applicable.
Essential Skills
Ability to consistently lift a minimum of 75 pounds throughout the shift.
Ability to work in freezer temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit while wearing company-provided personal protective equipment.
Proficiency in using an RF scanner for inventory, picking, and order processing.
Experience with general warehouse labor, including packing, inventory, and material handling.
Capability to safely use pallet jacks for moving boxes and pallets.
Reliability and strong attendance, with willingness to meet performance and attendance expectations.
Ability to follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment, including steel or composite-toed shoes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience operating forklifts and stand-up forklifts.
Background in order selection and order picking in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Familiarity with RF scanners and related warehouse technology.
Previous experience working in cold storage or freezer environments.
Comfort performing repetitive tasks such as packing, scanning, and moving boxes.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a group of approximately 30 team members.

Work Environment
This role is based in a brand-new, clean freezer warehouse operating at temperatures as low as -10 degrees Fahrenheit. The company provides personal protective equipment for working in the cold environment, and you are required to wear jeans, a sweatshirt, gloves, composite-toed shoes, and safety glasses. The team size is approximately 30 people, creating a collaborative and supportive environment. The position offers two shifts: first shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and second shift from 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. You will regularly work with pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment while handling heavy boxes and inventory in a temperature-controlled freezer setting.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
