Our client, a leading organization in supply chain and logistics, is seeking a Warehouse Transition Lead to join their team. As a Warehouse Transition Lead, you will be part of the Supply Chain / Logistics department supporting operational excellence and seamless warehouse transitions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational skills, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse Transition Lead

Location: Suffolk, VA

Pay rate: $45.00

Shift: 7am-3:30pm

Duration: 3 months

What's the Job?

Lead and coordinate activities related to a major warehouse transition project to ensure timely completion.

Manage daily execution of transition activities, maintaining business continuity and service levels.

Coordinate cross-functional teams, including warehouse staff, third-party logistics (3PL) providers, and internal stakeholders.

Oversee inventory transfers and ensure alignment of warehouse management systems (WMS) and offline reporting tools.

Track and report KPIs such as inventory accuracy and reconciliation throughout the transition process.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution operations.

Proven ability to manage operational transitions or relocations.

Strong knowledge of warehouse processes, WMS, and inventory management.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
