Warehouse Coordinator
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will support our client's warehouse operations with a focus on customer returns, shipping and receiving, and inventory accuracy. In this role, you will work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment that connects delivery operations, returns processing, and freight movement. You will coordinate closely with dispatch, drivers, carriers, and leadership to ensure that freight and returned units are processed correctly and on time. The position combines physical warehouse activities, such as unloading trucks and assembling products, with detailed data entry and documentation using Microsoft Excel and internal systems. The core schedule for this position is Tues-Saturday 9am-6pm, with additional flexibility needed due to varying freight volumes.

What You Will Do?
Coordinate and oversee the unloading of customer returns from daily deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient processing upon arrival to the warehouse.
Verify and accurately count all returned inventory, ensuring alignment with return documentation, manifests, and system records at all times.
Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or missing units, escalating issues in accordance with operational and asset protection standards.
Support the organization and staging of returned product within the warehouse to maintain efficient processing, inspection, and reallocation flow.
Maintain accurate inventory records through real-time updates in Excel spreadsheets and internal systems, and utilize Excel functions (sorting, filtering, basic formulas) to support daily reporting and reconciliation.
Track returned units, replacement inventory, damaged/defective classifications, and vendor accountability using structured reporting formats and established warehouse procedures.
Ensure all documentation, including return logs, PODs, and inspection records, is completed and stored in compliance with company standards and POD compliance requirements.
Collaborate with dispatch, drivers, carriers, and leadership to ensure seamless coordination between delivery operations, return processing, and freight movement across the facility.
Assist in sorting returned units by category (damaged, defective, pick-up return, vendor) for proper routing, disposition, and inventory reconciliation procedures.
Monitor and enforce adherence to safety, compliance, and process expectations during all warehouse activities, including loading, unloading, and material handling.
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing orders to sales associates for processing.
Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped accurately and efficiently.
Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe for employee and customer traffic, supporting asset protection standards and loss prevention efforts.
Complete all work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety policies and procedures while performing warehouse operations and freight handling.
Assemble products and participate in inventory counts as needed to support audit readiness, audit processes, and accurate inventory control.
Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time, and validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered for accounting purposes.
Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries and verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition for both outbound and return shipments.
Load and unload trucks and trailers as needed, supporting dock or warehouse operations in the transportation industry and last mile delivery activities.
Your Skills
Prior experience in warehouse operations, logistics, returns processing, or inventory control preferred to support accurate handling of freight and returned units.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (required) for tracking, reporting, reconciliation, and maintaining accurate inventory records in coordination with internal systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting, categorizing, and documenting returned units, including damaged/defective classifications and vendor accountability.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, managing return unloads, inventory verification, data entry, and shipping activities simultaneously.
Effective communication skills to coordinate with drivers, carriers, and leadership, including handling check calls and resolving delivery or return issues.
Physical ability to support warehouse activities, including standing, walking, and lifting as required, and must be able to lift, push or pull at least 75 pounds.
Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends, due to varying freight volumes in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
Dock or warehouse experience in the transportation industry, Experience loading and unloading trailers, and Experience using handheld scanners to support daily operations.
Experience within last mile delivery, appliance returns, or reverse logistics environments, plus familiarity with POD compliance, return classifications (damaged vs defective), and vendor accountability.
Exposure to audit processes, asset protection standards, and inventory reconciliation procedures, with the ability to apply critical thinking to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form.

Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
