Job Description
This short-term aerospace administrative assistant role focuses on filing, organizing, and maintaining personnel records in a structured and confidential manner. The position supports basic human resources functions through accurate record keeping, data entry, and clerical tasks in a professional office environment.
Responsibilities
File and organize personnel records in a logical, consistent, and easily retrievable manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date record keeping for employee files and related documentation.
Perform data entry tasks using Microsoft Office and other administrative tools as required.
Scan, label, and electronically store documents to support digital record management.
Handle and separate protected information from public information in accordance with HR guidelines.
Support general administrative and clerical duties such as sorting, labeling, and organizing paperwork.
Review records for completeness and legibility, ensuring that all information is clearly documented.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all personnel records and sensitive information.
Assist with basic HR-related documentation and administrative processes as needed.
Essential Skills
Proven administrative support experience in an office or clerical setting.
Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office for basic document, spreadsheet, and file management tasks.
Experience with filing, record keeping, and organizing physical and digital documents.
Ability to perform scanning and electronic document management tasks.
Good handwriting to ensure clear and legible documentation.
Prior HR knowledge sufficient to distinguish protected information from public information.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files and tasks efficiently.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with general HR processes and terminology.
Comfort working with both paper-based and electronic filing systems.
Ability to follow established procedures and documentation standards.
Strong focus on accuracy, consistency, and completeness in record keeping.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
