Maintenance Planner / Mechanical Technician

Our client, a leading consumer goods manufacturing company , is seeking a Maintenance Planner / Mechanical Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Planner / Mechanical Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting Operations, Engineering, and Production Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills , attention to detail , and effective communication which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Planner / Mechanical Technician

Location: Greensboro, NC

Pay Range: $43.13 - $44.32/hour

What's the Job?

Assist with IQ/OQ checks to ensure equipment is properly installed and configured

Inspect and verify mechanical components (alignment, torque, guards, moving parts)

Develop and document centerlines and maintenance standards

Create AM/PM plans, CILs, and maintenance documentation

Support development of rebuild procedures and ensure LOTO compliance

What's Needed?

Experience as a Maintenance Planner or related mechanical/engineering role (0-10+ years depending on level)

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial equipment

Knowledge of LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and safety procedures

Familiarity with production, packaging, and conveying systems

Engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience preferred
