Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
This role focuses on receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items within a stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. You will help maintain accurate inventory records, ensure items are stored safely and accessibly, and support smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming stock items, verify quantities, and accurately record data manually or using a computer system.
Count stock items regularly and update inventory records to maintain accurate stock levels.
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
Verify inventory computations by comparing system records to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or correct errors as needed.
Store items in an orderly, labeled, and easily accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other storage areas.
Label stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment to ensure proper tracking.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to meet safety and housekeeping standards.
Keep detailed records on the use, condition, and any damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear, defects, or damage and report any issues to supervisors promptly.
Provide assistance, guidance, and direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers to support team operations.

High school diploma or GED required.
0-2 years of experience in a warehouse, stockroom, or similar environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment and stock handling tools.
Comfort using computers or inventory systems to enter and track stock data.
Ability to follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, equipment, and inventory systems.

Work Environment
This position is based in a warehouse or storage yard environment, working with stockroom shelves, supply rooms, and tool rooms. You will handle physical materials, use labeling tools such as identification tags, stamps, and electric marking tools, and work with computer systems to record inventory data. The role follows a weekday schedule, initially Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with a half-hour unpaid lunch. After you become proficient in the job, the schedule shifts to Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., also with a half-hour unpaid lunch. The facility emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety regulations, and you will help maintain storage areas, supplies, tools, and equipment in safe working condition.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
