Industrial Electrician - Franklin, MA

Pay: $30 - $38/hr+ (based on experience)

Schedule:

Week 1: Monday-Wednesday | 7:00pm - 7:00am

Week 2: Monday-Thursday | 7:00pm - 7:00am

About the Role

We are hiring a licensed Industrial Electrician to support maintenance operations within a fast-paced manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for keeping production equipment and electrical systems running safely and efficiently. You will play a key role in minimizing downtime, troubleshooting complex electrical issues, and supporting equipment upgrades and improvements.

What You'll Be Doing

Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, motors, control panels, PLCs, and wiring.

Troubleshooting electrical and automation issues to quickly restore production.

Performing preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and facility systems.

Reading and interpreting blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical diagrams.

Testing circuits and equipment using multimeters, megohmmeters, and diagnostic tools.

Assisting with new equipment installation, upgrades, and commissioning.

Supporting production during emergency breakdowns and shift operations.

Documenting maintenance activities and maintaining accurate service records.

Responsibilities

Ensure all electrical work complies with Massachusetts electrical code, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.

Minimize equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Follow all lockout/tagout and PPE safety procedures.

Work independently while contributing to overall team goals.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; technical/trade school certification preferred.

Valid Massachusetts Electrical License required.

3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience.

Strong knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and automation systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
