Job Title: Water Truck Driver
Job Description
This role operates a water truck on active construction sites to support dust control, soil conditioning, and compaction activities. You will drive and maintain a CDL Class B vehicle, follow safety and DOT regulations, and collaborate closely with site supervisors and crew members to keep operations running smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
Operate a water truck safely and efficiently on construction sites and between job locations.
Perform dust control by watering haul roads, grading areas, and active work zones as directed.
Support soil conditioning and compaction activities by applying water in accordance with site requirements.
Fill and refill water tanks from approved water sources, ensuring proper handling and documentation as needed.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the water truck and related equipment, reporting any issues promptly.
Ensure full compliance with DOT regulations and all company safety standards while operating the vehicle and working on site.
Communicate clearly and professionally with foremen, equipment operators, and site personnel to coordinate daily activities.
Assist with general labor duties when needed, including flagging traffic, site cleanup, and other tasks assigned by supervisors.
Drive the truck to and from designated locations, including picking up and dropping off the vehicle at the Denver location as required.
Essential Skills
Valid CDL Class B license.
Ability to safely operate a water truck on active construction sites and public roadways.
Knowledge of and adherence to DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Basic mechanical awareness to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify potential equipment issues.
Ability to communicate effectively with foremen, operators, and site personnel.
Capability to assist with general construction labor tasks such as flagging and site cleanup.
Comfort working in a heavy equipment and construction environment, including around dump trucks and other large vehicles.
Reliable transportation to pick up and drop off the truck at the designated Denver location.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Direct construction water truck driving experience is preferred but not required.
Experience operating or working around heavy equipment such as dump trucks and other construction vehicles is an asset.
Experience in truck driving or Class B commercial driving in construction or similar environments is beneficial.

Work Environment
You will work primarily on open construction sites, operating a water truck in active work zones and driving between sites as needed. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $52000.00/yr.
