Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Consultant / Developer with over 8-10 years of expertise in ServiceNow platform development, administration, automation, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will lead the architecture, design, implementation, and optimization of scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and IT objectives.
This role requires deep technical knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB/CSDM, workflow automation, integrations, and platform governance. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and drive digital transformation initiatives across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
ServiceNow Architecture & Development
Lead ServiceNow architecture, solution design, and technical delivery initiatives.
Develop scalable and maintainable ServiceNow applications using:
Flow Designer
Workflows
Business Rules
Script Includes
Client Scripts
UI Policies
Service Portal Widgets
Design and implement custom scoped applications and enterprise workflows.
Establish platform standards, governance, and development best practices.
ITSM / ITOM Implementation
Implement and enhance ITSM modules including:
Incident Management
Problem Management
Change Management
Request Management
Asset Management
Support ITOM initiatives including Discovery, CMDB, and infrastructure visibility.
Design robust CMDB structures, CI relationships, and governance frameworks aligned with CSDM standards.
Integration & Automation
Develop and maintain REST/SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise systems.
Configure and manage MID Server integrations.
Automate business processes using IntegrationHub, Orchestration, and ETL solutions.
Integrate ServiceNow with platforms such as SAP, Azure, Workday, SailPoint, SCCM, Salesforce, Intune, and MobileIron.
Data Management & Platform Operations
Manage large-scale data migrations and transformation activities.
Maintain data integrity and synchronization across systems.
Monitor platform health, performance, and usage compliance.
Troubleshoot complex technical, automation, and integration issues.
Leadership & Collaboration
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define solutions.
Participate in strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Master's degree or postgraduate qualification preferred.
Experience
8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development and administration experience.
5+ years of strong experience implementing enterprise ITSM and ITOM solutions.
5+ years of proven expertise in CMDB architecture and CSDM alignment.
Experience working in enterprise-scale environments.
