As a Security Officer Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support shoppers, visitors, and staff through strong communication and customer service while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.

Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including entrances, sales floor areas, parking areas, and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and communicate with store leadership, visitors, and local responders when appropriate.

Support access control and closing procedures as assigned, including observing entry and exit activity, assisting with crowd management, and documenting security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
