Northrop Grumman is seeking a Finance Assistant 4 to support our Defense System Sector in Plymouth, MN. This position provides accounting assistance for a team of accounting and finance professionals.

Roles and Responsibilities

Enters journal entries into Costpoint accounting system and ensures required support is provided by the requestor.

Prepares and processes labor cost transfers at request of programs as needed.

Assists with cash collections tracking.

Supports intercompany work requests.

Prepares and processes monthly Intra-Accounting system transfers as needed.

Assists with weekly/monthly reporting for the operating unit.

Supports special projects and financial analysis as requested.

Basic Qualifications

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years related experience and/or additional education

Requires 2 years of accounting related support experience

Requires bookkeeping experience making entries for debits and credits

Experienced with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Deltek Costpoint/Cobra

Reliable, organized, self-motivated, and possess a high degree of integrity

Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communication skills

Primary Level Salary Range: $58,300.00 - $97,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
