Job Title: Skilled Laborer (Construction)
Job Description
This role involves working on construction sites to install fences and related structures, perform general construction labor, and support site preparation and clean-up. You will use hand and power tools, follow safety procedures, and complete physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment while contributing to high-quality installations.
Responsibilities
Install fences and related structures at various construction sites according to project specifications.
Perform site preparation activities, including measuring, marking, and setting up work areas before installation.
Tear down and remove existing structures or fencing as required.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, fastening, and assembling materials.
Operate saws and other construction tools in accordance with safety guidelines and training.
Measure materials accurately using a tape measure to ensure precise cuts and proper fit.
Handle heavy lifting and manual labor tasks throughout the workday.
Maintain a clean and organized job site by performing regular site clean-up and debris removal.
Follow all safety rules and procedures, including OSHA standards, to maintain a safe work environment.
Assist with landscaping and fence installation tasks as needed to complete projects on time.
Communicate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
Work overtime when needed to support project deadlines and customer requirements.
Essential Skills
Demonstrated experience in construction labor or similar hands-on roles.
Proficiency using hand and power tools in a construction environment.
Ability to install and tear down fences or similar structures.
Basic construction knowledge, including understanding of site preparation and installation processes.
Experience with site preparation and clean-up on construction or outdoor job sites.
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
Competence in saw operation and other basic construction equipment.
OSHA 10 certification or familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
Strong physical strength and stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor throughout the shift.
Problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges and complete tasks effectively.
Experience with landscaping or fence installations.
Reliability and willingness to work a consistent first-shift schedule with overtime when needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in general labor roles within construction or outdoor work environments.
Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team on active construction sites.
Strong attention to detail when measuring, cutting, and installing materials.
Willingness to learn new tools, techniques, and installation methods as needed.

Work Environment
This position follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with overtime available throughout the week based on project needs. You will regularly use hand and power tools, including saws and measuring tools, and perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and manual labor. The work environment emphasizes adherence to safety rules and OSHA standards, with a focus on maintaining organized and clean job sites.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
