Summary

The selected candidate will be involved in both technical and non-technical tasks. Activities will allow for work to be completed individually as well as in a team environment with opportunity for collaboration with other departments within SRP.

The student intern will work daily scheduled hours based on the department's needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 40 hours per week maximum.

What You'll Do

Technical activities may include:

Work within a team of architects on tasks ranging from process improvements to application support

Support and develop Power BI and Power Apps applications

Design and update SharePoint pages for the Architecture & Governance Services team site

Non-Technical tasks may include:

Help in maintaining and organizing architecture process including HIT Assessment, Enterprise Roadmap administration, and Technology governance documentation

Identify areas for improvement within team processes

Assist in updating the enterprise Application Portfolio Management and Software Asset Management system

Education

A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

College level coursework (100+) related to the position from an accredited institution is preferred.

Experience

Computer aptitude and enthusiasm to learn new technologies

Reliability and accountability

Good organizational skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with more emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

Power BI

Power Apps

Relational databases

SharePoint

Additional Requirements and Qualifications

College level coursework (100 or higher) from an accredited institution is preferred.

College-level coursework will be evaluated individually to determine if it is applicable to the position and relevant to the required skills.

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
