Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Job Description
Join a warehouse distribution hub in Maryville, TN as a Warehouse Associate responsible for receiving inventory from a larger distribution center, organizing it into local storage, and efficiently picking, packing, and shipping products to local customers. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, with a strong focus on accuracy, safety, and timely order fulfillment while operating order picker and reach truck forklifts.
Responsibilities
Receive incoming product from a larger distribution center and verify quantities and accuracy against documentation.
Place received inventory into the correct local storage locations, shelves, or racks according to warehouse procedures.
Pick products accurately for local customer orders using an order picker forklift and, when needed, a standing reach truck.
Pack customer orders securely and appropriately to prevent damage during shipping.
Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, staging, and loading products for outbound delivery.
Perform general warehouse labor such as organizing stock, maintaining clean and orderly work areas, and assisting with inventory control tasks.
Support shipping and receiving activities by unloading incoming shipments and loading outgoing orders as needed.
Follow all safety guidelines while operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, including working at heights of up to 20 feet on an order picker.
Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time for scheduled shifts to support consistent warehouse operations.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Essential Skills
Experience receiving, picking, packing, and shipping products in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Ability to operate an order picker forklift safely at heights of up to 20 feet for the majority of the shift.
Ability to operate a standing reach truck to pick products for orders when required.
Knowledge of basic inventory control practices, including putting stock away and maintaining accurate warehouse inventory.
Capability to perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and organizing materials.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order picking, packing, and shipping.
Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent warehouse operations.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse distribution hub environment.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes and documentation.
Comfort working at elevated heights on an order picker.
Ability to follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
Willingness to assist with a variety of warehouse tasks as business needs change.

Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse distribution hub in Maryville, TN with a team of approximately 10 employees. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., including a 1-hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks. The position is highly active and requires standing for most of the shift while operating an order picker forklift at heights up to 20 feet, as well as occasional use of a standing reach truck. The environment involves typical warehouse conditions, including regular loading, unloading, and movement of inventory, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and efficient order fulfillment. Paid holidays are provided as part of the work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
