We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support a large, growing healthcare system in the Albany area.

This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable activities across multiple campuses, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reimbursements, and related transactions. This is an excellent opportunity to join the largest regionally governed not-for-profit health system in northeastern New York and western New England, with strong potential for long-term growth and advancement.

$20-$23/hour

Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices, reimbursements, refunds, and credits accurately and timely within ERP systems

Review and manage vendor invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approvals

Communicate with vendors regarding payment status, discrepancies, and timelines

Monitor payment schedules, including discounts, rebates, and sensitive payment terms

Prepare and distribute mailed payments

Maintain and update supplier records to ensure accuracy of payment details

Track and manage invoices that cannot be processed in ERP, ensuring proper documentation

Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional and timely manner

Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including 1099 filings

Support compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial regulations

Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Treasury, and Supply Chain teams

Required Qualifications

2+ years of Accounts Payable experience

Experience with full-cycle AP processing

Hands-on experience processing vendor invoices and managing vendor relationships

Proficiency in accounting/ERP software

Strong Microsoft Office skills, ???????? Excel

Associate's degree (or comparable experience)

High attention to detail with strong data entry skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in healthcare or large, multi-entity organizations

Administrative support experience (filing, scanning, documentation management)

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage high-volume invoice processing

Work Environment

Collaborative Accounts Payable team of 15+ members

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
