Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
This role focuses on the basic mechanical assembly of industrial paint sprayers in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. You will use hand and power tools, follow computer-based work instructions, and support labeling and packaging activities while working collaboratively on an assembly line with a small team.
Responsibilities
Assemble industrial paint sprayers using mechanical components, following detailed work instructions.
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly tasks.
Read and follow computer-based work instructions and work orders to ensure accurate assembly.
Work on an assembly line alongside 4 to 10 team members to meet production goals.
Assist with labeling and packaging of finished products as needed.
Handle and move materials and products, including lifting items up to 40 pounds.
Communicate clearly with team members and trainers to coordinate work and resolve issues.
Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe, well-organized work area.
Maintain a steady work pace in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing setting, with mechanical assembly experience highly preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical components.
Experience using hand and power tools, gained either on the job or through personal projects such as home renovations or working on vehicles.
Ability to stand on your feet throughout the shift.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds safely and repeatedly.
Good computer skills, including the ability to read and follow work instructions on a computer.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working on an assembly line in a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with reading work orders and production documentation.
Exposure to basic electrical or electro-mechanical assembly is a plus.
Attention to detail and a focus on producing high-quality work.
Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to updated procedures.
Interest in further technical or trades education supported by the employer.

Trainers are supportive, patient, and skilled at helping new team members and contractors get up to speed. Although the company is large, with over 100 employees, the department maintains a small-team feel, with close collaboration among approximately 10 coworkers on the line.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rogers, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
