As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control - Visitor Center in Hershey, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time / Seasonal (With outstanding work and attendance performance, this position can lead to a permanent opportunity)

Pay Rate: $18.52 / Hour

Job Schedule: Must be available to work all days of the week, including weekends, between the hours of 8:30 AM to 11:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating relevant details to site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.

Monitor access points, verify entry authorization, and assist with visitor and contractor processing in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.

Support loss prevention and operational continuity efforts by reporting hazards, damaged equipment, spills, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time.

Must be able to work outdoors in the elements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
