Overview
Vice President Director, Technology
Overview:
Digitas is seeking a Vice President Director, Technology to lead an AI-driven media platform for a major financial services company. In this role, you will drive the creation, rollout, adoption, and evolution of a bespoke, data-driven paid-media platform. You'll sit at the intersection of AI innovation, financial marketing, and enterprise technology-translating complex client needs into intelligent, compliant, and high-performing solutions.
Why Join Us?
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping AI-driven financial services marketing tools for one of the industry's leading companies. You'll do it at Digitas, a collaborative, AI-centric agency that values curiosity, craft, and impact. If you're energized by challenging problems, fast-moving projects, and the chance to unite data, AI, and media at scale, this is the role for you.
Who You Are:
The owner of technical expertise and a deft interpersonal touch. You can go deep on AI architecture with an engineer on Monday and the next day talk brand safety, regulatory compliance, and creative strategy with a channel marketing lead.
Well-versed in marketing for heavily regulated industries, and in media planning, buying, and/or automation.
An expert at balancing blue-sky ideation with real-world solutioning; you know when to emphasize one versus the other.
A top-notch presenter, equally at ease in a client boardroom or an internal sprint review.
Flexible, adaptable, and fluid. Comfortable navigating the ambiguity of cutting-edge platform work while keeping stakeholders aligned and confident.
A subject-matter expert in generative AI and data-driven personalization, with the ability to lead clients and teams through planning, requirements development, implementation, and rollout.
What You'll Do:
Serve as technology team lead and trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, partners, and clients at all levels.
Partner with internal Digitas teams, other agencies within Publicis Groupe, and client SMEs (technical and non-technical alike) to align platform capabilities with business goals, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
Lead technology and process discovery, strategy, and product delivery using our proprietary generative AI platform, across all aspects of the paid-media lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams-including designers, developers, data scientists, and strategists-to ideate, develop, and launch new agents, workflows, and other tools tailored to the client's needs.
Identify opportunities to expand and enhance the core platform and offering over time.
Build and execute rollout, training, support, and maintenance processes, ensuring all teams (internal and client) are empowered and confident users of the platform.
Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences-from engineers to CMOs-with clarity, credibility, and confidence.
Serve as a steward of responsible AI use, ensuring solutions align with financial industry regulations, data privacy standards, and brand safety requirements.
Qualifications
We're looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:
9+ years in a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst role, with significant digital/technology project experience.
5+ years working in a digital agency or financial services technology environment.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Business, Technology, or a related field preferred.
Robust experience with Generative AI, ideally with hands-on experience designing, deploying, and optimizing solutions in complex enterprise environments.
Proven capability in system/business analysis and driving product development from ideation to launch.
Proficient in modern AI platforms, tools, and the digital/software development lifecycle.
Solid understanding of data-driven marketing, media personalization, and campaign automation concepts.
Excellent analytical, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, with demonstrated success engaging senior client stakeholders.
Demonstrated leadership in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Adaptability to handle risk, change, and feedback while maintaining composure under pressure.
Financial services industry experience strongly preferred . Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements as they relate to marketing and data is a significant plus.
