You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR I in the Production Resources Department (Shop 51) of PSNS and IMF.

Duties
Help
You will plan work schedules, manpower, skill and material requirements.
You will select and assign work to subordinates and instruct them on procedures, specifications, priorities and schedules.
You will assist employees in interpreting plans, instructions and specifications.
You will recommend and help plan facilities, equipment, and procedure changes to improve safety, reduce costs, and meet new work requirements.
You will keep time, schedules and approve leave.
You will actively support the Equal Employment Opportunity Program.
You will coordinate work of unit supervised with other units and trades.
You will plan and implement on-the-job training for apprentices and journeyman in the specialized skills of unit supervised.

You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.

You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
