Adecco is currently assisting a local Customer in their search for a General Accountant positions in Hammond, IN. Shift: Mon-Fri 8:00AM-5:00PM

Pay: $30.00 p/h

Responsibilities:

Work with Shared Services to maintain vendor master files

Handle vendor inquiries including special payment request

Submit miscellaneous invoices to Shared Services as needed

Resolving discrepancy issues of what was received/invoiced

Work with Quality and Material Departments to ensure that supplier quality chargebacks are timely processed

Process supplier debit memos and credit memos and monitor for closure

Reporting: HPCS, OT Production, Daily Flash updates, Weekly Forecast, and Weekly Operating Stats

Review quarterly vendor statement reconciliation prepared by Shared Services

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to deadlines.

Ability to turn special requests around quickly and effectively.

Ability and willingness to work a flexible and/or changeable schedule, especially during the month end close process

BS or BBA in Accounting or related field (Finance or Economics) preferred

Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable, Payroll or General Accounting preferred

Experienced with Kronos, Coupa, PeopleSoft AP, PeopleSoft Payroll, SAP is a plus

Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, index match, etc.)

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
