Job Summary

University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, Inc. is currently seeking an individual for a full-time position as a Mechanical Senior Project Manager located in the Anaheim, CA area.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Proven project management skills with a minimum of 10 years' experience as a project manager with full mechanical contracting or related construction firms.

Minimum 5 years' experience in industrial related projects.

Minimum 5 years of preconstruction/design-assist experience.

Proven experience in management of healthcare, data center, lab, higher education and semi-conductor projects. Contract value range of $15M-200M.

Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering preferred.

Experience working with job sites in healthcare is preferred.

Computer Skills

Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs

Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office, Viewpoint

Duties include safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to their projects, preconstruction, design- assist, field labor productivity, quality assurance and coordination, project financial outcome, projections and reporting, material and equipment procurement, change order management, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management.

Managers are responsible for directing and overseeing the work activities of their direct reports. Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, executed Plans, and Programs.

Compensation Range: $155,000-175,000

Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with applicable state and local law, including the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance.
