Job Description

We are presently seeking an experience Assembler that will perform any combination of the following tasks to assemble electronic components, subassemblies, products or systems.

**$2,000 sign on bonus for qualified individuals

Schedule: 4/10 Mon-Thurs

Location: Miamisburg, OH

What you'll do**

Receive general instructions on all work, under intermittent supervision.

Position and align parts in fixtures or other holding devices.

Perform intermediate assembly tasks, such as soldering, potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy, bonding, curing, laser welding, operation of pneumatic machinery, pneumatic presses, etc.

Install finished assemblies or subassemblies in cases or other packing material.

May perform assembly operations under microscope or other magnifying device.

Mount assembled components such as resistors, capacitors and integrated circuits.

Connect components, wires to printed circuit or route via soldering.

Adjust, trim materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.

Perform inline testing, inspection using measuring instruments and electrical test equipment to ensure parts and assemblies meet production standards.

Ability to cross train on other programs in the facility.

Perform various repair/rework operations using approved written procedures.

Utilize schematics and blueprint drawings to complete work.

Intermittent OVERTIME, typically completed on Fridays.

Other duties as assigned.

What you need

Required qualifications:

3-5 years of industrial experience or similar training is preferred.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

Certain job assignments require the ability to obtain and maintain an IPC/J-STD Certification within 90 days of employment and throughout your tenure.

Ability to obtain an ATF Possessor Permit.

Ability to read schematics and assembly prints, as well as being thoroughly familiar with such assembly operations as wiring, welding, bonding and soldering is preferred.

Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 is a plus.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision and collaboratively as part of a team

Must be able to effectively communicate and engage with all levels of the organization verbally and in writing.

Possesses intermediate computer skills including MS Office, Excel and Outlook.

Please note that due to the requirements from the Department of Energy, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

Some bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, mild lifting of 10 pounds or less.

Some assemblers are required to intermittently lift up to 50 pounds.
