Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and security-related policies within a technology-focused location.

Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report concerns.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and document observations, incidents, and security-related activity according to site procedures.

Support emergency response activities, including alarms, evacuations, and building notifications, while providing clear directions and assistance to occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
