Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in Tampa, FL.

This position is expected to begin in Summer 2026.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.

Performs entry-level work.

Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.

Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar discipline and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the master's degree are eligible to apply for these positions. Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working for a large general contractor.

Previous AECOM internship.

Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook). As well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.

Additional Information

Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $15.58 to $27.25.
