Job Summary and Qualifications

Responsible for Developing, Implementing and Improving facility-based Surgical and Specialty Services supply chain operations for HCA to include all supply related activities. This role's primary focus will be in the Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology and Interventional Radiology services with support of surgical services and other procedural areas as needed. Define operational strategy, best practice policies and procedures to help implement a consistent program at an aggregate level while continuing to recognize the unique operational variables present throughout HCA's facilities. Develop and Implement a corporate structure that will assure collaboration and communication with HCA corporate CSG, OSG, and Supply Chain Facility and Corporate Clinical teams to obtain feedback and gain agreement on operational process and practice. In addition, this position collaborates closely with the various corporate and division based Supply Chain leaders on operational and inventory management processes and initiatives and provides strategic leadership in the design and execution of initiatives.

What you will do in this role:

Develop and lead strategic plans as they relate to Surgical and Specialty Services, including all activities focused on operational efficiencies and standardized clinical supply chain practices.

Foster collaborative relationships with Key OSG/CSG stakeholders on OR, Cath Lab, and IR Initiatives

Collaborate with CSG, OSG, and HCA IT to develop and optimize hemodynamic systems supply functions to include inventory management and charge capture.

Design, optimize, and implement facility based perpetual inventory processes focused on inventory management while maintaining the highest level of care in the Cath Lab, EP and IR.

Design and support an environment of continuous improvement for Cath Lab, EP and IR supply chain functions.

Develop, implement, and optimize facility based training programs as they relate to the OR and Cath Lab programs, focused on maintaining the highest level of service in our facilities.

What you will need:

Bachelor's Degree required

Master's Degree preferred

7 years Supply Chain Operations or other hospital operations experience required

Cath Lab of procedural area focus preferred
