Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

This role focuses on performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on industrial machinery and building systems in a cool to freezing production environment. The Maintenance Technician diagnoses and repairs equipment such as blenders, conveyors, AC/DC units, and boilers, ensuring reliable operation in an FDA-regulated food production facility.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery, including blenders, conveyors, AC/DC units, and boilers.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.

Use basic hand and power tools safely and effectively to complete maintenance and repair tasks.

Read, interpret, and work from electrical and mechanical schematics and diagrams.

Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential issues and perform necessary adjustments or repairs.

Support maintenance of building systems and infrastructure within the production facility.

Diagnose and resolve issues with 480V and three-phase motors when required.

Essential Skills

Previous industrial maintenance experience and knowledge.

Mechanical troubleshooting experience in an industrial environment.

Electrical troubleshooting experience, including work with industrial equipment.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.

Hands-on experience using basic hand and power tools for maintenance and repair.

Work Environment

SHIFT:

1st shift - Monday-Friday, 5am - 330pm.

2nd shift - Monday-Friday, 4pm- 230am.

Wknd shift - Friday-Sunday, 3a - 530p.

PAY - starting at $22/hour. Up to $30 for qualified candidates

Semi climate controlled facility

Weekly pay

LOT OF OVERTIME (Some voluntary some mandatory)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
