Accounts Receivable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to support a busy construction and contractor environment in Hillsboro, Oregon. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and can manage large volumes of financial transactions with accuracy and consistency. The person in this role will help maintain timely receivables activity, apply incoming funds correctly, and keep billing records organized using Sage Intacct.

Responsibilities:

Process a high volume of accounts receivable transactions while maintaining strong attention to detail

Enter financial and customer payment information accurately into company records and accounting systems

Apply incoming cash receipts to the appropriate customer accounts and open invoices

Post payments in a timely manner to ensure account balances remain current and accurate

Assist with billing-related activities to support smooth invoicing and payment tracking

Review receivable records for discrepancies and resolve routine issues affecting payment application

Support commercial collections efforts by following up on outstanding balances and documenting account activity

Use Sage Intacct to manage receivables data, update account information, and maintain organized records Requirements - Experience working in accounts receivable within a fast-paced business environment

Strong data entry skills with a high level of speed and accuracy

Hands-on experience with cash application and payment posting activities

Familiarity with billing processes and commercial collections support

Working knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar accounting software

Ability to manage high-volume transactional workloads with strong organization

Solid attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
