Job Title: 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)

Responsibilities

Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload large bags of agricultural seed.

Stack seed bags, typically 2-3 bags high, ensuring stable and secure placement.

Apply general knowledge of production policies and procedures to support daily production operations.

Lift, carry, and throw seed bags weighing 50+ pounds on a consistent basis when not operating the forklift.

Assist with labeling products to ensure correct identification and traceability.

Help with bagging products and preparing items for shipping, receiving, and warehouse distribution.

Pick orders accurately and stage products for shipment according to warehouse procedures.

Work Environment

The role is based in a very clean and organized warehouse and production facility focused on agricultural seed handling and distribution. You will primarily work indoors in a temperature-variable environment that typically ranges in the mid-40s to 50s (°F) during winter and becomes warmer in the summer months. The position follows a 2nd shift schedule from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Work is physically demanding and repetitive, involving frequent lifting, carrying, and stacking of heavy bags, as well as extended periods of operating a sit-down forklift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elizabethtown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
