You will monitor entry points, verify access, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at a utility location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns according to site policies.

Monitor visitors, contractors, and employees entering restricted areas, help to deter unauthorized access, and maintain accurate access records and/or logs.

Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, control points, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.

Communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding unusual activity, access issues, and emergency response needs.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
