Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Identifies patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and other persons in a position to understand care requirements; initiates plan of care

Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families

Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals; teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills; answering questions

Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards; making or recommending necessary adjustments; following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations

Resolves patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies

Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations

Required

Associate Of Nursing Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Registered Nurse: ND, upon hire and

Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and

Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 90 Days and

Pediatric Advanced Life Support, within 90 Days

Preferred

Bachelors Of Nursing Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)

less than 1 year 1 year in the discipline

CHI St. Alexius Health Dickinson, part of CommonSpirit Heath, a national nonprofit health system based in Englewood, Colorado. The faith-based system operates in 18 states and includes 103 hospitals. Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care, assisted and residential living communities, community health services organizations, home health agencies, and numerous outpatient facilities.

Pay Range

$34.00 - $50.58 /hour
