We are seeking a Managing Director - Large Deals (Products 2 Industry) to lead and scale our most strategic, high-value pursuits. This is a senior leadership role for a proven deal maker who can shape, lead, and close $100M+ transformation deals, while building and mentoring a world-class team of Large Deal Leads.
As a Managing Director, you will own the large deal strategy and execution for the Products 2 industry . You will operate as a player-coach , combining direct deal leadership with team leadership and capability building. You will be accountable for driving significant revenue growth , influencing industry strategy, and positioning the organization as a trusted transformation partner to global clients.
This role carries enterprise-wide visibility , with direct engagement with C-suite clients, regional CEOs, industry leaders, and global sales leadership.
Job Responsibilities Include :
Enterprise Leadership & Industry Ownership
Own and drive the large deal agenda and revenue contribution for the Products 2 industry
Partner with industry and sales leadership to define growth strategy, priority accounts, and pipeline build
Represent the organization externally in executive forums and strategic client engagements
Leadership & Capability Building
Lead, mentor, and scale a team of senior Large Deal Leads
Build a high-performance culture focused on win rates, deal quality, and profitable growth
Institutionalize best practices across deal shaping, governance, and commercial strategy
Player-Coach Deal Leadership
Personally lead and close select, marquee $250M+ deals
Define winning strategies, competitive positioning, and deal differentiation
Drive executive alignment, go/no-go decisions, and pursuit investments
Industry-Led Opportunity Shaping
Identify and originate transformational opportunities aligned to key industry trends (smart manufacturing, supply chain resilience, digital commerce, etc.)
Shape complex, multi-tower deals spanning applications, data, cloud, infrastructure, and operations
Ensure strong alignment between client business outcomes and solution strategy
C-Suite Engagement & Market Influence
Build trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders (CEO, CIO, COO, CFO) across key clients
Lead executive conversations, strategic workshops, and high-stakes negotiations
Position the firm as a long-term strategic partner in large-scale transformation
Cross-Functional Orchestration
Orchestrate global pursuit teams across sales, consulting, solutioning, delivery, finance, and legal
Drive alignment and accountability across complex, matrixed teams
Ensure seamless integration of solution, commercial, and delivery strategies
Commercial & Risk Leadership
Oversee development of:
Integrated, outcome-led solutions
Business cases and value propositions
Pricing strategies, deal structures, and risk frameworks
Balance growth, profitability, and delivery risk at an enterprise level
Governance, Execution & Closure
Establish and enforce rigorous deal governance and decision frameworks
Drive proposal quality, executive reviews, and final submissions
Lead complex negotiations and ensure successful deal closure and handover to delivery
Basic Qualifications:
MBA or a Bachelor's degree in business, technology, engineering, or a related field
18-22+ years of experience in IT services, consulting, or large deal/pursuit leadership roles within a global systems integrator or consulting firm
Proven track record of originating, shaping, and closing large, complex deals ($100M+), with direct accountability for revenue and growth
Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end pursuit lifecycles , including deal qualification, solutioning, commercial structuring, negotiation, and closure milestone management, dependency tracking, stakeholder coordination, risk/issue management, and executive reporting
Demonstrated ability to lead in highly matrixed, cross-functional environments
Experience supporting C-suite and senior business leader engagement on business transformation, strategic investments, and enterprise change initiatives
Strong understanding of technology modernization and transformation across cloud, applications, infrastructure, data, digital, operations, and managed services
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills
