Job Title: Construction General Laborer
Job Description
The Construction General Laborer supports a large new construction project by performing a variety of site cleaning, material handling, and general labor tasks. This role helps maintain a safe, organized, and efficient job site by keeping work areas clean, moving materials as directed, and assisting the construction team with basic labor needs.
Responsibilities
Perform general labor and cleaning duties across the construction site as needed.
Sweep floors and keep walkways and work areas free of debris.
Pick up trash and dispose of waste materials in designated areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Vacuum or remove standing water when it rains to prevent slips, trips, and falls.
Move construction materials from one location to another as directed by site supervision.
Help keep the site organized by consolidating materials and tools in designated storage areas.
Follow construction safety practices and site rules at all times.
Work effectively on an active new construction job site alongside other trades and team members.
Attend required site orientations and safety briefings and follow instructions from supervisors.
Essential Skills
Experience working as a general laborer on construction job sites, ideally on new construction projects.
Comfort working on active new construction job sites with ongoing trade activities.
Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Knowledge of basic construction safety practices and willingness to follow all safety guidelines.
Experience with site clean up, including sweeping, trash removal, and general cleaning.
Ability to safely move and handle construction materials as directed.
Reliability and willingness to work 2nd/night shift, Monday through Friday, and remain open to occasional Saturdays as needed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Any OSHA or related safety certifications are a plus.
Prior experience performing general laborer duties on a large new construction project is ideal.
Strong attention to cleanliness and organization on the job site.
Ability to take direction well and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Punctuality and consistency in attending required orientations and scheduled shifts.

Work Environment
This role is based on a large new construction stadium project. You will work primarily on the 2nd/night shift from 5:00 pm to 1:30 am, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of occasional Saturdays as project needs arise. Initial orientation takes place on-site at 6:00 am, Monday through Thursday, followed by the start of the regular 5:00 pm shift that same day. The environment is an active construction site, which involves exposure to outdoor weather conditions, varying noise levels, and frequent movement around the project. Appropriate construction attire and personal protective equipment are required in accordance with site safety standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
