As a Equipment Operator for our Bison Power Generation Plant in Ray, North Dakota you will contribute to our team by:
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The roles and responsibilities of an Equipment Operator may include but are not limited to the following items:
Practice safe use of Hand & Power Tools.
Practice safe work habits at all times and promote safety to others.
Working knowledge of and experience working with rigging and lifting systems.
Perform quality work as determined by the project specifications.
Accountable for all assigned tools and materials.
Assist immediate supervisor with coordinating future tasks to be completed.
Must work well as part of a team.
Document maintenance logs on assigned equipment.
Operate gasoline, diesel, pneumatic, or electrically powered equipment to move objects or material according to project specifications.
Perform maintenance duties such as cleaning, greasing, and oiling machines and equipment.
Must understand manufacturer's specifications and limitations applicable to the operation of the assigned heavy equipment, such as load capacities, operating speeds, and specific hazard warnings and instructions.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment to maintain in an operable and reliable state of readiness.
Operate various @types of heavy equipment such as forklifts, motor graders, dozers, and similar earth moving and lift equipment.
Scoop, lift, swing, or dump material.
Must work well as part of a team.
Keep a clean work area as well as clean tools, equipment, and material.
Plan, stage and layout inventory from the warehouse as directed.
Dig, spread, and level dirt and gravel.
Assist in checking that areas are barricaded, and travel paths are clear and marked.
Work within all PCL and client guidelines.
Load and unload trucks and/or rail cars.
Prioritize tasks according to job schedule and direction.
Assist in assuring all required PCL and client Safety and QA/QC forms are properly filled out and signed and approved by all required.
Keep track of all components and materials for project tasks.
Participate in health, safety, quality, and environmental processes.
Conduct oneself as a Role Model when representing PCL and in contact with project and client personnel, coworkers, other contractors, and subs, and community.
Must pass all pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Must have Osha 10 or Safety Essentials
Must have minimal of 4 years' experience
Must have Industrial construction experience
