How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
The
Sales Manager for Delta's Pharma product will be responsible for all commercial
activities and business development for the North America region. This will be
critical in supporting the implementation and realizing the product strategy
for Pharma in alignment with the long-term strategy, growing Delta's book of
business for these products, and will report directly to the Director -
Americas Sales.
Summaryof responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
Supports DeltaCargo's Pharma product portfolio including HQ relationship with largerPharma customers; builds and expands these product portfolios with a focuson speed to market, customer satisfaction, customer retention and growthof new business, so that Delta Cargo remains competitive in the industry;and provides our customers with options to support all of their shipmentneeds.
Establishes andmaintains a competitive product assessment to ensure our products are atparity or better than competitive offerings for the region incollaboration with Senior Business Development Pharma
Drivesenhancements to Pharma product portfolio to increase market share andyield with a focus on existing and new innovative solutions.
Develops specialcustom solutions for large enterprise organizations connected to thePharma product, works through special projects in his field ofresponsibility and develops the annual Cargo business plan for Pharma.
Supports thedevelopment of new and enhance processes from documentation, solutiondesign and training materials to ensure the successful execution of theproduct offering.
Lead anddevelopment local, regional Pharma business communities, forums, vendorsand international entities within the Pharma product offering and GDP& CEIV stakeholders.
Represents DeltaCargo in user and industry groups to drive initiatives and standards thatsupport our strategic objectives
Liaises with keyareas on the passenger team to build on their experiences, identifiesopportunities for synergies and generates new ideas that enhance ourproduct portfolio. Create relationships with Passenger Sellers atkey Pharma producers.
Researches andfacilitates detailed analyses of data to determine optimum programs andgoals.
Develops andprepares business cases and justification for Pharma growth.
Additional tasksmay be required based on business needs.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Minimum of fiveyears of experience and understanding of cargo, pharma and healthcareindustry, products, operational processes and technologies or relevantexperience.
Must be able toinfluence and drive change at all levels of the organization.
Must havedemonstrated problem solving, organizational, analytical anddecision-making skills, as well as the ability to lead and direct multipleassignments simultaneously.
Must be able tointeract effectively with executives and able to confidently speak beforelarge groups and effectively conduct meetings.
Must have strongworking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint Experience;Access, as well as Tableau and other database/analytic platforms ispreferred.
Should possessexcellent oral and written communication skills and have a professionaldemeanor.
Must haveeffective time management and multi-tasking skills in addition to criticalthinking skills and high emotional intelligence.
Must be able towork well under pressure and effectively balance multiple, rapidlyshifting priorities with little direct supervision.
Must be able totravel (up to 60%) and represent Delta at industry / customer functions.
Must be a teamplayer.
Must beperforming satisfactorily in present position.
Consistentlyprioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces diversepeople, thinking, and styles.
Possesses a highschool diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
A bachelor'sdegree in business, marketing, supply-chain or finance. An MBA ispreferred.
Prior leadershipexperience including leading teams.
Aviation ortransportation industry experience.
Cargo salesexperience or similar industries.
