Warehouse Worker

The Advance Group has partnered with a manufacturing company in Weston, OH to direct hire Warehouse workers. The ideal candidate will be dependable, have forklift experience, and knowledge of hand-held RF scanners.

Job duties for Warehouse workers:

Operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts (50--75% of the workday)

Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse

Pick and stage orders using handheld scanners

Prepare shipments, including wrapping pallets and organizing outgoing freight

Handle e-commerce orders, including relabeling and detailed packaging requirements

Assist with inventory tracking and ensure accurate order fulfillment

Perform hand packaging and assist production if needed

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines

Perform frequent bending and lifting up to 50lbs to move and stack boxes

Requirements for Warehouse workers:

Forklift experience strongly preferred (stand-up or sit-down; certification provided on-site)

Prior warehouse experience including order picking and scanner use

Basic computer and math skills for inventory and order processing

Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

Ability to lift 25--50 lbs regularly and perform frequent bending and lifting

Ability to stand and move throughout the shift

Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment

Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

No cell phone use on the floor

Must be comfortable working around allergens (nuts, dairy, shellfish)

*typically looks for candidates near BG/Waterville/Weston area, candidates in Toledo do not last

Shift for Warehouse workers:

1st Shift: Monday--Thursday 6:00am--4:00pm

Occasional Fridays (typically 8-hour shifts)
