Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join a construction company team in Churchville, Maryland. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who is organized, self-directed, and confident communicating with employees and internal stakeholders. In this role, you will provide day-to-day administrative support with a strong focus on coordination, documentation, and human resources-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and broader team by handling a range of daily office tasks

Enter and maintain employee and operational information accurately in company records and tracking systems

Coordinate onboarding activities by preparing new employee documents and helping ensure required paperwork is completed on time

Arrange meetings, interviews, and other appointments while keeping calendars organized and up to date

Assist with background screening processes and follow up on outstanding items to keep recruitment workflows moving

Communicate clearly with team members and candidates regarding schedules, documentation, and next steps

Help organize office files and maintain orderly administrative processes that support project and personnel needs Requirements - Previous experience in an administrative support or office coordination role

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to manage paperwork, schedules, and multiple priorities with minimal supervision

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in calendar management and appointment scheduling

Comfortable supporting HR-related administrative activities such as onboarding and background checks

Must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive TalentMatch®
