About The Role:
As a CBRE Fund Accountant, you will apply basic accountingfundamentals to create, review, and organize financial statements, net assetvalues, and reports. This job is part of the General Accounting job function. Theyare responsible for the development and day-to-day maintenance of accounting processesand procedures.
What You'll Do:
Prepare and analyze periodic net asset value (NAV) calculations.
Support production of fund financial statements and other required financial information, including investor commitments, asset accrual methodology, and output.
Support the daily activities of the treasury and cash management functions of the fund.
Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and various other accounting statements or financial reports.
Review the accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications.
Maintain, record, and reconcile billings and accounts receivables for small to medium-sized clients, markets, or accounts.
Create month-end accounting entries. Reconcile discrepancies and posts to the general ledger.
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and review transactional activity for accuracy.
Examine reports for conformance with accounting requirements and fundamentals.
Troubleshoot issues and ensure requests are handled timely, accurately, and with a focus on customer service.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred with up to 2 years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Proven experience in fund level accounting with fund accounting software systems such as Yardi preferred.
Requires knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations including financial terms and principles.
Some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figure such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Theminimum salary for this position is $65,000 annually and the maximum salary forthis position is $82,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to asuccessful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, andexperience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionarybonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
