Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and processing, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join their team. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting production and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Location: Chickasaw, AL

Pay Range: $22/hr plus OT, benefits

What's the Job?

Operate hand or power tools, forklifts, computers, and production equipment to support manufacturing processes.

Perform team duties including managing meetings, communicating with other teams or individuals, managing documentation, records, and scheduling personnel.

Maintain safety, environmental quality, product quality, productivity, and inventory accuracy within your area.

Arrange, load, move, package, handle, transfer, label, sample, and document process materials.

Set up, adjust, clean, take apart, assemble, or perform minor maintenance on machines or equipment.

What's Needed?

Minimum of 3 years of experience working in manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.

Ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.

Basic knowledge of computer programs/software.

Forklift experience preferred.

High school diploma or GED required.
