Summary You will serve as an ELECTRICIAN SUPERVISOR I in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT (SHOP 06) of PSNS and IMF. Responsibilities You will plan daily and weekly work schedules, establishing priorities on the basis of work schedules, methods and instructions from higher level supervisors. You will assign work to subordinates and instruct them on work requirements, methods, and procedures as needed. You will inspect work in progress and upon completion, chanage work plans, assignments, and methods as necessary to reduce or control costs and meet schedules. You will resolve informal complaints and grievances among employees. You will enforce guidelines on standards of conduct, safety, and housekeeping. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.
