Job Title: Administrative AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant for a 1st shift position. The primary responsibilities include checking trucks in and out of the system, performing data entry tasks, and supporting drivers and the sales team.

Responsibilities

Process daily checks and close trucks.

Print invoices and resolve tickets.

Handle UPS carrier processing and run reports for the sales team.

File evidence of insurability and perform general filing duties.

Track dispatch and scan pick lists.

Perform data entry and system clean-up to ensure data accuracy and support for drivers and sales.

Populate pre-pick slips for outgoing orders.

Provide exceptional internal and external customer service to drivers, material handlers, and vendors.

Essential Skills

2-3 years of administrative experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.

Strong data entry skills.

Excellent customer service abilities.

Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Typing speed of 40 words per minute (typing test required).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Familiarity with logistics and dispatch operations.

Knowledge of OTM, Agility, and Excel databases.

Strong multitasking capabilities.

Basic math skills proficiency.

Reliability and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.

Work Environment

The position is onsite, working from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, with a 1-hour lunch break. You will share an office space and work closely with an open and honest team. The company culture is laid-back but prioritizes timely completion of customer priorities. Benefits include Blue Cross Blue Shield, 401k, PTO, dental, and vision insurance. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FREDERICK, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
