Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support

Job Description

Summary:

Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations. Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision. Coordinates, prepares, and executes incoming/outgoing deliveries (e.g. purchase order [PO] receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor [RMS] activities). Ensures complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity. Performs material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process. Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and runbooks Required: High School Diploma AND 2+ years experience warehouse/supply chain in an information technology (IT) environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field Required: Basic understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Skills and Requirements

Required: Previous experience working in a data center environment.

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training required

0-2 years experience required

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills

Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time

20-28/H

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of

employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in

the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this

role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the

applicable law of the worksite location.
