Warehouse Operations Specialist
For our client in Grand Prairie, Texas, Adecco is recruiting for an on-site Warehouse Operations Coordinator / Warehouse Operations Specialist position structured as a full-time, temp-to-hire role. The Warehouse Operations Coordinator serves as a key support partner to the Warehouse Manager and plays a hands-on role in daily warehouse operations. This position is responsible for overseeing shipping and receiving activities, sourcing and coordinating with vendors, supporting inventory movement, and preparing and shipping sample packs according to specifications. The role requires strong operational awareness, physical stamina, and the ability to step in wherever support is needed to keep the warehouse running efficiently. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, proactive individual who is comfortable working on the floor, managing multiple priorities, and acting as the Warehouse Manager's right-hand while maintaining safety procedures and warehouse standards. What You Will Do?
Act as primary support to the Warehouse Manager in daily warehouse operations, taking a hands-on role coordinating activities directly on the warehouse floor.
Oversee and execute shipping and receiving activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness, including verification of inbound and outbound freight and documentation.
Coordinate inbound and outbound freight and maintain proper documentation, ensuring records are accurate, organized, and aligned with operational requirements.
Source and communicate with new and existing vendors as needed, maintaining professional relationships that support timely and cost-effective warehouse operations.
Create, package, and ship sample packs according to specifications, ensuring correct materials, quantities, labeling, and shipping details are consistently followed.
Assist with inventory organization, movement, and basic tracking, supporting inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse layout through structured workflows.
Support warehouse projects, process improvements, and workflow organization, contributing to more efficient operations and adherence to warehouse standards and procedures.
Ensure safety procedures and warehouse standards are followed, promoting a disciplined, safety-focused environment across all warehouse activities and tasks.
Step in to cover operational needs as required, including hands-on warehouse work such as material handling and general physical tasks.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, providing clear updates on shipping, receiving, inventory status, and vendor coordination.
Your Skills
Prior warehouse or operations experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with daily warehouse processes, material handling, and basic logistics activities.
Experience with shipping, receiving, or logistics is strongly preferred, including exposure to freight coordination and related documentation requirements.
Former military experience is preferred, supporting the role's need for reliability, discipline, and adherence to established procedures and standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy in fast-paced warehouse operations.
Comfortable working independently and taking initiative, with the ability to identify operational needs and address issues without constant supervision.
Basic computer skills and ability to handle documentation accurately are required for processing shipping records, freight documents, and inventory tracking information.
Reliable, disciplined, and safety-focused behavior is expected, including consistent adherence to safety procedures and warehouse standards at all times.
Strong work ethic and accountability are required, with a commitment to completing tasks thoroughly and supporting the Warehouse Manager and team.
Adaptable and willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities, including both administrative coordination and hands-on warehouse work as needed.
Clear communicator with a team-first mindset, capable of collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and logistics partners.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50 to 75 pounds regularly is required to meet the physical demands of warehouse operations safely and consistently.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods is necessary to support ongoing warehouse activities during the full shift.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment, including exposure to typical noise, movement of equipment, and physically active job requirements.

Pay Details: $23.00 per hour
