Financial Management Analyst

Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the Aviation Support Division of COMMANDER ELEC ATTACK WING PAC FLEET. Responsibilities You will analyze and recommend costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of an organization's programs and administrative operations. You will formulate, monitor and track obligations and expenditures throughout the execution process for Aviation Support Division (ASD) and Fleet Readiness Center Northwest. You will ensure budget submissions and fiscal year funds are balanced in support of approved financial programs for all Operating Target Budgets (OPTARs). You will present and defend budget estimates before authorities. You will implement legal and regulatory controls over approved budgets. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-9 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing financial management systems to identify and resolve budgetary problems for cost effective use of organization program funds. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
