Manage risks of the banks U.S. Equities Trading business, including risk analysis of Delta 1, flow derivatives, structured derivatives, and convertible bonds that have high profit and loss (PnL) volatility. Oversee the development of various strategic initiatives for the risk management program and ensure risk frameworks are aligned across regions. Make discretionary decisions regarding new products and deals, ensuring adherence to our global risk framework policy. Work closely with external regulators to ultimately develop reports for senior management regarding key risk buildup in the portfolio. Build robust analytical tools to (i) ensure compliance with new regulations and define risk management methodologies for the US Equity Market Risk team and (ii) determine how complex traded products can be represented under the new FRTB (Fundamental Review of Trading Book) rules. Requirements:Masters Degree in Finance, Quantitative Financial Economics or Quantitative Engineering plus five years of experience in the offered position or a VP or higher risk management position at a global investment bank or financial services firm. All required experience must have included: leading risk management for a global equity business line managing derivatives, Delta One and convertibles; performing deep dive analyses on existing and proposed trading strategies to assess risk buildup and risk mitigation strategies; recommending trade strategies to optimize capital resource allocation and advising on capital usage and risk analysis for new products; monitoring key risks in the global equity portfolio, including monitoring and resolving trade limit excess, and setting up trading mandates and portfolio structure maintenance; performing stress testing; reviewing stress testing results and scenario analyses to identify market and economic conditions that negatively impact the firms position; advising on future areas of stress in global markets and developing appropriate stress scenarios; managing risks of flow and structured derivatives using model validation and independent price verification tools for reserve calculation; and implementing new regulatory requirements (FRTB) and developing corresponding reporting processes.
