JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler II to support the assembly of mechanical and electrical components used in Department of Defense (DoD) programs . This role involves hands-on, intricate assembly work in a structured, quality-driven manufacturing environment.

While training is provided, candidates must already have experience using hand tools, power tools, and reading blueprints or schematics . This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoy precision work and contributing to mission-critical programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, panels, frames, drawers, cables, and hardware

Assemble both repetitive and non-repetitive parts following written work instructions, drawings, and diagrams

Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and shop equipment to complete assemblies

Perform continuity checks and visual inspections on work-in-process and completed assemblies

Disassemble, rework, modify, and reassemble components as required

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Experience using hand tools and power tools in a manufacturing or assembly environment

Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures

Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail

Ability to work reliably in a team-based environment

Willingness to learn electro-mechanical assembly processes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams

Previous experience in electro-mechanical or complex assembly

Prior experience supporting government or DoD programs

Familiarity with ESD and FOD control requirements

Previous Assembler I or similar manufacturing experience

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
