Description We are looking for an organized Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations for a non-profit organization. This Contract position is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, manages competing priorities with accuracy, and helps create a welcoming and efficient administrative environment. The role will involve front-desk coordination, data handling, correspondence support, and general office assistance to keep business activities running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

Welcome visitors and serve as a reliable first point of contact for incoming calls, messages, and general inquiries.

Maintain administrative workflows by preparing documents, updating records, and entering information into internal systems with a high level of accuracy.

Monitor shared inboxes, respond to routine communications, and route requests to the appropriate team members in a timely manner.

Sort and distribute incoming mail, packages, and internal correspondence to support efficient office communication.

Provide day-to-day office support by scheduling activities, organizing files, and assisting with routine clerical tasks.

Use Microsoft Excel and other office tools to track information, prepare basic reports, and support administrative reporting needs.

Help keep the reception and office areas orderly, well-maintained, and ready to support staff and visitors.

Assist team members with general administrative needs to ensure smooth operations across the organization. Requirements - At least 2 years of experience in an administrative, office support, or receptionist-focused role.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and callers.

Demonstrated ability to answer inbound calls, manage correspondence, and handle front-office responsibilities effectively.

Experience with data entry and document handling, with close attention to accuracy and detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with standard administrative office software.

Ability to organize incoming mail, maintain inbox management tasks, and prioritize multiple assignments efficiently.
