Position Details
Title: Warehouse Coordinator
Client: Baxter
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
Shift: 1st Shift (6AM to 3PM, Saturdays and OT as needed)
Position Type: Temporary
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Organization:
Provide leadership to enhance department performance.
Take charge in the absence of the lead or supervisor.
Help direct workflow in the receiving area, set priorities and meet deadlines.
Shipping & Receiving:
Process receipt of all inbound freight by packing slip and purchase order.
Oversee outbound shipments to ensure all shipments are labeled and prepared correctly.
Complete bill of lading, packing list, seal assignment and barcode assignments for shipping orders.
Warehouse Operations:
Replenish stock and process inventory (picking, packing, staging, and shipping).
Assist with cycle counting, spot-checks, and periodic inventory verification.
Transfer material between warehouse and production lines, physically and in inventory control system.
Collaborate with quality receiving and inspection for proper sampling and staging.
Equipment & Physical Requirements:
Operate material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, PIT certification preferred).
Maintain warehouse and aisles in a clean, organized, and hazard-free condition.
Lift and move materials weighing 10-50 lbs.
Documentation & Compliance:
Adhere to Baxter and Lonza SOPs, GMPs, and safety rules and regulations.
Accurately prepare and maintain inventory and shipping records.
Additional Functions:
Assist in completing preventive maintenance activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; AA preferred.
Experience: 3-5 years in warehouse and/or technical office roles.
Skills:
Proficiency in warehouse management systems and PC environments
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work independently (without direct supervision)
Flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to reach, lift, and move materials regularly
Must be able to fulfill tasks requiring substantial upper body strength
