Job Title: BESS Electrical Superintendent
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced BESS Electrical Superintendent to lead and manage energy storage electrical construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage energy storage electrical construction projects from initiation to completion.
Monitor progress against key milestones and performance metrics.
Mentor assistant superintendents, craft personnel, and junior-level employees.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and subcontractors for timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets project specifications and industry standards.
Promote and enforce a culture of safety by implementing company standards and OSHA policies.
Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and training to develop team members' skills.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing energy storage work, including NFPA 70e, IEEE, and NEC standards.
Essential Skills
Strong electrical work experience within the electrical trades.
Minimum 5 years of work-related experience in energy storage, electrical construction, or related field.
OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.
Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and prioritize problems independently.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and coordinate.
Effective written and verbal English communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Direct relevant industry experience as an NFPA 70e "Qualified Person" preferred.
Knowledge related to the construction and operation of electrical equipment.
Ability to travel and work in varied environments as required by project needs.
Strong knowledge of dispatching methods, techniques, and practices.

Work Environment
This position is located on the job site, requiring travel. Projects typically last between 9 months to 2 years, and work is primarily conducted outdoors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $89.00/hr.
