The Account Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all on-site security operations at Amazon facilities. This role ensures contract compliance, maintains client satisfaction, and leads a high-performing security team through active supervision, training, and operational support.

Your Responsibilities as an Account Manager
Serve as the primary point of contact between GardaWorld and Amazon site leadership.
Lead, train, and support all site-level Security Officers and Supervisors.
Maintain strict compliance with all Amazon-specific training and service level agreements (SLAs).
Ensure all personnel files, training records, and compliance trackers are current and audit ready.
Conduct regular post inspections, performance evaluations, and coaching sessions.
Implement incident escalation protocols and ensure timely, accurate reporting.
Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and certification of new hires at the site.
Monitor scheduling, staffing levels, and overtime to ensure budget compliance.
Perform monthly training audits and submit results to the Regional Training Manager.
Participate in quarterly service reviews and performance reporting with the client.
Work a minimum of 8 hours in each frontline post (e.g., Screening Officer, Rover, Control Desk) every 6 months.
Handle client or team issues and emergencies.
Improve the client's security program for long-term success.
Meet and maintain contracted KPIs.
Guide customers through integration projects, contracts, RFPs, and onboarding.
Deliver detailed presentations focused on client needs.
Develop and evaluate security and crisis management plans.
Write reports, client communications, instructional materials, and operating guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
Authorized to work in the United States
Able to pass an extensive screening process
Must have a High School Diploma
Must be over the age of 21
Must have at least 1-2 years of leading security teams of 10+ security officers
At least three (3) years of experience in security operations, with a proven track record of handling increasingly complex responsibilities.
Able to obtain a security license.
Able to obtain a CPR, AED, & First Aid Certification.
Must have reliable transportation.
Able to be flexible outside of scoped hours.
3+ years of progressive leadership experience in security, military, logistics, or facility management.
Strong working knowledge of compliance management, incident reporting, and guard scheduling systems.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead diverse teams and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, security software (WinTeam), and training platforms (LMS/Vector).
Ability to pass a background check and meet all licensing requirements.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience managing large-scale security operations at logistics, warehouse, or distribution centers.
Familiarity with Amazon operational standards and audit procedures.
Emergency response and incident command experience.
Training & Certification Requirements:
Completion of all General Officer, Supervisor, and Post-Specific training modules.
Successful completion of the Account Manager Training Checklist.
Ongoing recertification in CPR, AED, and First Aid.
Documented completion of quarterly and annual leadership development courses.
